Additionally, quartzite is less porous than marble, making it more resistant to staining. When properly sealed, quartzite countertops are excellent at repelling moisture and everyday spills.
Durability

Sealing Required
While quartzite is more stain-resistant than marble, it is still a porous material that requires sealing to maintain its protective barrier. Depending on usage, quartzite countertops may need to be resealed every 1-2 years to maintain optimal performance.
