Porcelain Surfaces
Porcelain is a versatile, durable, and beautiful material that has become increasingly popular for countertops,wall-cladding, fireplaces and other surfaces in homes and commercial spaces. With its exceptional resistance to wear and tear, plus a wide variety of colors and designs, porcelain can be the perfect solution for many interior design projects.
Porcelain surfaces are created from natural raw materials, including clay, feldspar, and silica, which are combined and then fired at extremely high temperatures. This process results in a dense, non-porous material that is both strong and visually appealing.
Durability
As one of the toughest materials available, porcelain surfaces are designed to last. They are resistant to chips, cracks, and fading, even under heavy use or exposure to the elements. While porcelain is very hard, it can be brittle, meaning that it can crack or chip if struck by a heavy object or subjected to a sharp impact. Proper care is needed during installation and use.
How Patterns Are Printed
We digitally print intricate, realistic patterns directly using digital inkjet printing technology to apply designs directly to the surface of the porcelain slabs. This allows for an almost limitless range of patterns, textures, and colors, including designs that mimic the appearance of marble, wood, or concrete.
Once the design is printed, the slabs are fired in a kiln at very high temperatures. This process bakes the pattern into the surface of the porcelain, making it permanent and highly resistant to fading or wear.
