Sealing Required
Marble countertops are more high maintenance than other natural stones. They should be sealed upon installation and resealed regularly, typically every 6-12 months, depending on usage. Sealing helps protect the surface from stains, moisture, and everyday wear. Always test the sealant’s effectiveness by placing a few drops of water on the surface—if it absorbs, it’s time to reseal.
